Dream Big

Over the last few years, I have thought a lot about my purpose in this life. It has been a journey of ups & downs, mountains & hills. I have read books, watched videos, and followed others on Instagram. I still am not 100% sure what God put me on this earth to do, but I do believe I’m getting a little closer.

Sharing my heart with others is what I do. Helping others in different aspects of life is what I do. Everyday. I coach people in weigh loss journeys, give advice about the food you should eat, make people beautiful by doing hair, and lately, I’ve given a lot of advice about personal development & life in general. That has to be my purpose, right?

I seriously have pondered starting a blog for months, but never thought I was good enough to do this. But here’s the deal: I’m just being real. My heart tells me what I need to write each day. It could be completely random stuff to you all, but it’s from the heart. So I’m following my dreams and just going for it!

Since starting Advocare, almost 3 years ago, I know that I need to dream 2 sizes bigger. I know there is more to this life than just working for someone else, living by someone else’s rules and forgetting what I want. Being an entrepreneur is scary, takes hard work, and isn’t easy. But I want to live my life by design. So risks are what I have to take.

My husband is a true believer in dreaming big and doing whatever it takes to make that a reality. He started designing shirts months ago, because it’s always been his dream to have a clothing line. This scared me at first. Still does. How can you start from scratch and put all this money into something without knowing where it’s going to go?

That’s all part of dreaming and following that dream. His journey has been slow and steady thus far. There is a lot of hard work, dedication, late night sketching and planning. I see this dream in his heart and it just makes me so proud. The positive vibes this man puts off is unreal. He isn’t afraid of hard work.

We went out last night, just the two of us, to take some photos for his clothing line. We had so much fun just goofing around. Doing something I normally don’t do made me realize that life is about the small things. Enjoying each others company, being creative, and laughing together was a blast. His passion is something not everyone has and I admire that more than he knows.

I encourage you to find what your passionate about. Find your purpose. If you don’t follow your dreams, you’ll never know if they will come true. Take small steps toward that life you want to live.

I dream of being debt free and having my husband at home everyday. Not going to a corporate job. We have goals set and will keep working towards these goa

ls. You’ll never know how far you can fly if you don’t take a risk.
