Hey friends!
It’s another manic Monday in the Chavez household. After another weekend of go go go, I had no desire to get out of bed this morning. Not to mention the fact that it’s super windy and cold today. No thanks, I’ll just stay in my warm bed and pj’s.
Turns out, that’s not going to work today. It’s Monday. Too much to get done. Laundry, floors, bathroom and kitchen all need cleaned today. So, I made my coffee and tip toed to the basement and talked to God for a minute to start my day.
For some reason, God had this crazy idea that I should deep clean my kitchen at 8:30 am. And for some reason, I listened. My energy level went sky high and I feel like I can take on the day! I have already put all the laundry away and even washed the shower curtain. Yes, overachiever on this Monday.
Cleaning, organizing, rearranging, crafting & painting sooth my soul. They help me not get anxiety. God knows this. That’s why he put it in my heart today to be a crazy lady and clean before I have even brushed my teeth for the day.
I can tell He’s with me today. Guiding me to make the best of today. He knows my goals and dreams. He knows how hard I am going to have to work to make these all come true. He has put this calmness in my heart today to just take things as they come. I can’t control everything in my life, but I can do my best to make the best of what’s thrown my way.
The good Lord gave us this house to call our home. I should do my best to take care of it, clean it, take pride in it for Him. I challenge you all to make the best of what’s thrown your way today. Put a smile on your face and have a good attitude. People around you will feed off of your good vibes and things will start to change around you.
