November has arrived and I’m finding that so many are trying to rush straight to Christmas.
I love putting up my tree just as much as the next crazy lady, but this year is going to be different.
I am going to do my best to not rush things. I’m going to be thankful for what I have, celebrate Thanksgiving and then move forward.
So for the month of November, I’m going to dig deep into each day and tell you all what I’m thankful for.
Those of you that know me, know that every morning, when I’m talking to God, I write the things I’m thankful for. Some days are harder than others. But for the sake of Thanksgiving, I’m going to be thankful!
Today, like most days, I’m so incredibly thankful for my husband. Yes, there are days he drives me crazy. But at the end of the day, he makes me better.
This man is so patient and genuine. He has such a kind soul and never judges.
My husband is always there to hold my hand and help me through. Even when I push him away, he’s always there.
He’s an amazing daddy to our two girls. He gets silly and doesn’t take life too seriously. That’s why he’s good for me. I’m way too serious and he’s far from it. We balance each other out.
Isaac came into my life when I least expected it, but God has a plan. We’ve had ups and downs, but who hasn’t?! Marriage isn’t rainbows everyday. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side, it’s green where you water it.
He’s the icing to my cupcakes.
The laces to my shoes.
He’s my rock when I need him and the one cheering me on at all times.
I don’t know where I would be without him and our small tribe. Our house is always full of giggles and craziness. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So, November 1st- – – what are you thankful for? Do what I do and write it down everyday. Trust me, when you see all that you have to be thankful for, it really changes your attitude.
Happy Wednesday friends.
