Happy, happy Friday friends!!
You know when you wake up and it’s just a good day? That’s today. Nothing can stop this good mood.
I got my booty to the gym this morning for the first time this week. That’s sad, but it’s the truth. Life happens.
Since the year is almost over, I used the Top 9 app to see what my top 9 Instagram posts were.
This year has been so full of memories, I was kind of surprised by the 9 that popped up.
This year, my focus was to work on me. My faith, the love for myself and my body. It’s been a journey thus far and it’s not even close to over.
Through it all though, these two have been my why. My purpose. I want to me mentally and physically healthy for them. I want to be able to keep up with them and be their role model. I want them to look in the mirror and love who they are and not be too hard or judgmental.
I want my girls to know what strong is. My body has changed so much since having kids. It’s amazing that with being committed, you can reach goals. This photo was posted this summer. I’ve changed even more since then. Hard work does pay off.
Being confident in my skin has taken a long time. I can honestly say that turning 30 in January changed my outlook on life for the better. When I turned 30, I realized I can love myself for my flaws. I can be confident and glow.
We bought our first house this year. Isaac and I have waited for this for so long. We worked hard to get to this point in life. We’ve been here 6 months now and have already made so many memories.
We are the coolest parents. We love dressing up with our kids. Some day, our kids will think we are lame, so I guess we enjoy it as long as possible.
Our first Thanksgiving in our home. I made my very first turkey this year. I was so proud of myself. Plus, it tasted good!!
The year has flown by. I can’t believe we are celebrating the birth of Jesus in just a few days and then, boom! A new year.
I am so incredibly thankful for what the year has brought for my tribe. We have gone through valleys and mountains. We have conquered some hard stuff and celebrated the wins.
I’m thankful for all of you, your support and love. 2017 was just the beginning for my blog and this adventure. I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings.
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday. Isaac and I are going on a date tonight- – – that hasn’t happened in mooooonths. I’m so excited!
