Today was a roller coaster.
It started off with all the positive vibes, self talk, manifesting. The sun was shining, it was my day off, coffee was drank in peace. All the right things were done to have a good day.
And then, I let the negative thoughts come in and steal my joy. I allowed the devil to disrupt my good day and ruin my mood. It happened to quick and then it was too late. The tears started, not stopping til all my mascara was covering my entire face.
Does this ever happen to you? If you’re human, it’s happened at least once. But let’s be honest with ourselves and just get it out there that this happens more often than we would like to admit.
When things are going so good, the hard work is paying off, your focus is on the prize and you can totally see the finish line… that’s when the devil says “mmm I got you my little pretty. I will ruin this in seconds.” He comes in and fills your mind with negativity. Your self talk goes from “yeah girl, you got this!” to “you aren’t worthy. you’re a failure. your dreams will never come true because they aren’t realistic.”
It’s all lies. He is filling your head with the nonsense you absolutely shouldn’t believe. But it’s hard to ignore. Am I right?! It’s easy to agree with the negative words. It’s easy to just give up because those dreams are pretty far fetched.
Well I am here to tell you to KNOCK IT OFF!!!
Do not let anyone else, including that pesky devil, steal your joy. People are going to tear you down, tell you your ideas are garbage, make you believe that you will fail. WHO CARES WHAT THEY THINK!!
They are only saying those terrible things because they don’t know what they want for their own life. They don’t know how to want better, to dream. They allow themselves to talk badly to themselves and have surrounded themselves with such a negative vibe that they don’t know anything else.
You can’t let others bring you down.
Surround yourself with people like you. Dreamers. Creative people that want more for their life. People that will lift you up when you’re having a rough day. People that will cheer you on when you reach goals. Get rid of the toxic in your life and only allow positive in. Your world will change when you do this.
Write down exactly what you see for your life. What are you working towards? Imagine every detail and write it all down. Keep that vision in mind every single day. Manifest what you’re working towards and act like it’s already your life. If it’s a business imagine what the inside will look like. Whats your logo going to be? Can you see your customers? The walls, furniture and inventory? Make it a reality inside your pretty head and on paper. When you’re talking to friends talk about that business like it’s real.
When I was coming up with GROW I could see a place for kids to feel safe. I could see an organization that would change our community. GROW has a long way to go, but I’m more focused now than I ever have been. This is the year it’s going to grow into something incredible. Our community is going to be reached in ways I never imagined. Kid’s lives are going to be impacted because of the love of Jesus. The church is going to have to build on because of all the kids we are going to reach. See what I did there, just spoke it into existence.
I also envision my hair business exploding. I’ve missed being in the salon and can’t explain how excited it makes me to be back in the game. The Loft on 3rd is going to be so rad. So if you need your hairs did, hit your girl up. I’m going to make magic happen.
Your goals and dreams are yours. Big or small (dream big, girlfriend) chase those dreams. Do not let fear get in the way. Don’t let other people’s opinions get in the way either. Stay positive and keep fighting for what you want in your life.
And if you need someone to just believe in you, cheer you on and keep you fighting, I’m your girl. I will always be your cheerleader and will 100% believe in you.
Dream big my friend!
