YOLO

Good morning my darlings! It’s Friday & I’m doing a happy dance.

I woke up this morning, before my alarm, ready to take on the day. I walked over to the neighbors with my cup of coffee and came back home to happy kiddos and my husband having the day off. Oh happy day!

When my husband is off for the day, I try my hardest to cherish every moment and not become an OCD freak. I have my daily routine that I like to do, but when he’s off, I have to just go with the flow… sort of.

We have to get groceries today. Not my favorite job in the world, but at least we get to suffer together today. It seems though that when I do take my husband, we spend more than I normally would or buy things that I don’t find necessary. Any one else feel this way? I have a rhythm when I go to the store. I make my list and for the most part, follow it. I cruise right along. But when he goes, it takes longer and we end up frustrated with each other. So here’s to that extra cup of coffee today to deal with that.

You guys are going to die when you see what I’m wearing today for #fashionfriday. It’s color! I know, I surprise myself sometimes. I told you, I woke up in a good mood.

Crazy right?! Color. On a Friday. Who knows what’s going to happen today! YOLO right?!

I put this Barbie sweatshirt on and decided the bedding needed washed, right now. My brain was instantly on over drive, making a list of everything that needed to be done today. Maybe this shirt has magic in it that makes me want to conquer things I don’t want to do.  I’m tellin ya, crazy things may happen today.

I’ve had this shirt since before we got married 2 1/2 years ago. Guess how many times I’ve worn it? Today makes twice. Ridiculous. When I put it on, my husband said I was too old to wear it… so yes, I’m wearing it. 30 is the new 21. This sweatshirt is from Forever 21…. Don’t judge me.

I even changed my earrings today AND wore makeup. Not sure what’s going on…

I promise to spread my positive vibes like confetti today, so if you come in contact with me, watch out. It’s contagious.

Tuesday, when I started my new job at the supply house, my manager gave me some samples to try. I have never used AG hair care before so I was excited. I used the cleansing cream yesterday. I had second day hair, so I ended up using it twice. It says it doesn’t suds up like normal shampoo and you don’t have to follow with conditioner. That no lather thing is weird, right?

Turns out, it works pretty well. It was hard to tell if I got my scalp clean, but I went with it. When I blow dried, my hair was clean like I had used normal shampoo. It was soft also. So I think that’s a winner.

The texture spray is pretty rad also. I had curled my hair with a flat iron, like always, and then sprayed it all over. It gave my hair so much volume. I didn’t have to use hair spray on top either, which I find to be a plus.

My hair looked awesome and then I stepped outside into the Nebraska wind. So today, it’s pulled back. You already know I used my favorite dry shampoo. That stuff is seriously my jam.

You guys, I think today is going to be a great day. I’m going to go enjoy the day with my husband and our sweet girls. I have to work both days this weekend, so today is a YOLO kind of day.
